NURSING

Pulse Staffing proposes to provide licensed RN’s and LVN’s who meet the following criteria:

Each nurse completes a comprehensive application and interview

Professional references are checked through their two most recent employers.

Each nurse’s license, CPR and other certifications are verified.

Each nurse must have a minimum of one year’s experience in the specialty are required unless otherwise specified by the facility

Each nurse must provide proof of current health record and annual proof of blood borne pathogens training and immunization.

Nurses are given one or more of the following skills tests depending on their specialty:

OPERATIONS

Pulse Staffing is open for business 24 hours per day. Our staff is available in the office from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours staffing coordinators handle orders or customer service calls at other times.

Pulse utilizes an automated system for selecting candidates for clients. This program tracks employees who are not only skilled in a specific area but are also oriented to the facility. In addition, this program monitors each employee's license and certifications to ensure they are current. This system supports after hours orders and inquiries by our coordinators.

A registered nurse is available at any time to discuss clinical or technical issues.

INSURANCE

Pulse Staffing maintains the following insurance:

Professional Liability Limits: $1,000,000 each incident $3,000,000 aggregate
General Liability Limits: $1,000,000 each incident $2,000,000 aggregate
Worker's Compensation Limits: $1,000,000 each accident $1,000,000 disease-each employee
Subrogation is waived for Worker’s Compensation.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

Pulse Staffing provides all services as an independent contractor. No employment relationship is established between our staff and our clients. All of our staff are direct employees of Pulse, we deduct all applicable payroll taxes, such as FICA, and Federal and State income taxes, from their weekly compensation.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE


Pulse Staffing maintains a robust communications system capable of routing calls outside of our area in the event of a disaster that affects local phone service. You should be able to contact us by calling our regular phone numbers. In the event that we lose communications with your facility through normal means, we will make every effort to contact you to coordinate your staffing needs. In the event of an emergency that results in loss of communications with your facility, our staff has been instructed to call you directly and to report for work if still unable to communicate.

COMPLAINT REPORTING

Pulse Staffing strives to provide customer service and client satisfaction at all times during customer complaints. Customers are considered the most valuable asset, and the agency regards resolution of concerns with a positive outcome to be the highest priority. Any client who has concerns about the safety or quality of care provided by Pulse Staffing may report these concerns to the Joint Commission. All complaints will be identified in writing by the agency, documented and tracked accordingly. Identified trends will be addressed and handled in order to maintain customer service, positive client relations and patient safety. All investigations will be completed and resolved, in a timely fashion; expected to be five business days. Any violations, complaints or concerns involving potential patient safety concerns will be identified immediately and your facility will be notified. All complaints received will be handled without subjecting the complainant to any coercion, discrimination, reprisal or unreasonable interruption of services.
